Senior photos in St Thomas

I was soooo excited to do my sister Heather's Sr. photos on spring break! I was hoping we could get some awesome shots! Here are a few of them.

Note- I would LOVE to take any ones photos out of country...so you can take me with if you want :) You pay for my vaca, I wont charge for my time...hehe!

Quick look at the trip

Well our vacation was very hot! As you can see in our tans, OK OK I'm red not tan...but you get the point. St Thomas was definitely an expensive island! Not the most beautiful island, so we went to St Johns....GORGEOUS! Highly Highly recommend seeing that island.

Here is a photo in our room, there was no queen/king bed...2 fulls that we had to push together. But it was nice, I had my own covers for once!

This photo was at Trunks Bay, St John. As you can see it is very pretty!

St Johns as well, we found this spot with old ruins, made for some great photos. Especially since I was taking Heathers Sr. pics there.

Not sure where on St Johns this is, but it too had a great view. Yeah! I have photos of me and Aaron again.

But I am glad to be back in a routine again.

My Baby Love

I am soooo excited to see my little man tomorrow night. Even if it means waking him just to say hi. A whole week without him! I felt like I wasn't even a mom, at all. I am definitely ready to be mom again. 26 more hours and counting. I love you Cohen, see you soon!

Some Beach, Somewhere.

I will be unavailable for the next week. For I will be here!

I am very excited about this vacation. Couple reasons...I hope it is easier to leave my child for warmer weather vs colder this time. Also, I thought the fact that he is getting like 3 more teeth at the moment was a good time to give him to Grandpa and Grandma for the week!

So St. Thomas, here I come!

Some of my favorite photos from this past session. I have been really discouraged with my lighting, I love natural lighting...but...it dosnt always want to come out when you need it! Really need some studios lights...But I think for the most part the photos turned out cute :)

Hello! Goodbye!

Today was a wonderful day! I have done some research on Canon cameras...and I made the final decision to buy my camera today (I have been borrowing my dad's camera!) And I think I made a wonderful choice. One click and I was in love. Serious love. Here is a photo I took of the new addition. This is the first camera I have ever owned that wasnt a point and shoot. Hard to believe I want to do photos for a living and didnt own my own. Hope this will bring much better helo to my upcoming sessions.

(yes I had to use the old camera one more time)

Continued Growth

Yes, It is 11:45pm and I am still up! Yes, I should be in bed. But, here I am! I was excited to add a new feature to the "business" I now can do client proofs online. It is called www.KaringaStudios.smugmug.com there you can view client proofs, my portfolio, and also family photos that I have added. It will make business much easier! (I hope)

I also am trying out a printing lab this week, we will see how that goes, but I have heard good things...I will let you know how it goes!

I am off to bed.

Cohen Turns 1 Years Old!

Where did that year go! I have a one year old. But it dosnt make sense...I didnt get older, how did my baby? I am gonna have kids driving and I am going to still feel like I am a teenager. *sigh* And wow, did parenting become challenging at one year. We have the biting, and the throwing the food over the tray, the sit still while I change you...and on and on. But, I am determined to win!

He is starting to say words...well, I would describe them as words, you may call them whatever language you want.
Bottle= "baaa"
Bath= "Ba"
Ben="Be"
Mom="mamamamama"
Dad="dadadada"
JayJay= "ja ja"

The day of the party...well that was interesting...the child has more then enough clothes to last all of 2007. The cake, agh yes, the cake. I feel as though I have done a great job feeding my child. He hates cake, he hates cookies. Ice cream was ok, but the cake...no. He would have nothing to do with it. Just look at that face of disgust!

What a honey! She had the most beautiful eyes! Big blue ones! So adorable. This is actually a friend from works lil 6 month old girl. Cohen wasnt the most gentle with her though...he is used to slappy Shelby, our dog. So he went up to her a wopped her on her face. I could have died! Not that he knows any different yet, but still. It feels like a refelction of your parenting! Thank heavens she didnt cry. Anyways, here are a few photos from the day...enjoy!

What a "Zoo"

Here are the photos you keep checking the blog for :) (You know who you are...)

What a crazy day this was when I did this session. We had 6 adults & 4 boys ranging from 12 days-3 yrs old. Phew! On top of all the commotion I had the heat turn WAY WAY up for the baby photos. Oh my goodness, I thought I might pass out. But here are a few more from that day.

Once again, I couldnt pick...this blog is gonna be really long with all these photos!

How can you NOT laugh at this? I was spliting a gut when I took these.
These have to be my favorite!

Itty Bitty One

Here is some of the photos I took of a 12 day old baby. So adorable! I couldnt believe how tiny he was! Unfortunally, mine was not that small...ever. He never cried, he did so good! Awe, almost makes me want another one...alomst.... :)

More Practice, sorry Cohen

I havnt used my white backdrop with Cohen yet, and it is much easier to do your own kid, b/c you know what kind of photos you want. Its harder with a client b/c you dont feel right telling their kid what to put on or do. So hopefully over time I will get better with that. I have 3 shoots this weekend, one which is a 2 wk old! So this will be a new one for me. So I got this adorable basket, heres some photos of it. Sorry...I couldnt choose the photos NOT to put on here.

Big mouth frog...perfessionally done. Haha. (we are still trying to capture the "bunny")

The lazy "so big"

Here is the adorable basket.
