We Got Meat!!!
Aaron, last night, grunted his first deer in. It was a 20 yard shot and he speared the heart and lung. It was a through and through shot. It ran 80 yards and dropped dead. It's a 7 point buck, with double brow tines. 12 1/4 inch spread. G2's are 3'' and brow tines are 2''. And of course, how could we get a picture of the deer without the baby riding on top!? Heaven forbid I not allow that!

Yeah Dougie, that kid shot a dear bigger than yours this year. For a grandson he as done pretty good. I am a little ashamed that he did not ski this year, but I am sure next year he will just start barefooting. Just keep Ben away from him so he won't get hurt. Thanks for visiting last night you guys.
Well, I see this blog has not quite caught on yet. Maybe Aarons picture scared everyone away. Anyway I still enjoy it.
